DETAILED EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO: 09/2019

A walk–in interview will be held at 11.00 AM on 23.12.2019 at National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium Chennai – 600 047 to fill up the following posts on part time basis / contract basis.

1) Professor (Gunapadam) – 01 Post (Anticipated Vacancy) – On Contract Basis

1) Post Graduate Degree in Siddha in the concerned subject recognised under IMCC Act, 1970

2) Five years of teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned subject or 5 years Research Experience in Pay Level 12 + NPA [PB – III (Rs.15,600 – 39,100) with GP Rs.7,600/- with NPA- Pre-revised]

OR

15 years combined experience in teaching as Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject or 15 years Research Experience in Pay Level 12, Level 11 and Level 10 with NPA respectively [PB –III (Rs.15,600 -39,100) with GP of 7,600/-, Rs.6,600/- and Rs.5,400/- with NPA- Pre-revised] out of which minimum 2 years in the pay Level 12 with NPA [PB-III (Rs.15,600-39,100) with GP Rs.7,600/- with NPA – Prerevised]

3)Minimum five research publications indexed in index medicus or National Journals. The posts will be filled up as per eligibility criteria indicated in Recruitment Rules mentioned above, failing which by adopting the experience conditions laid down by the Indian Medicine Central Council (Minimum Standards of Education in Indian Medicine) Amendment Regulation, 2013 as under: Total Teaching experience of Ten years is necessary out of which there should be five years experience as Reader or Associate Professor -1- i) Max. Age: As per CCIM norms ii) Scale of Pay : Rs.75,000/- per month iii) Leave admissible as per rules The period of contract will be one (1) year or till the post is filled up on regular basis whichever is earlier.

2) Resident Medical Officer (Anticipated Vacancy) – 04 Posts – On Contract Basis

i) Educational Qualification : A minimum qualification of BSMS/BIM degree

ii) Maximum Age: As per CCIM norms

iii) Emolument : Rs.30,000/- per Month

3) Emergency Medical Officer (Anticipated Vacancy) – 02 Posts – On Contract Basis

i) Educational Qualification : A minimum qualification of BSMS/BIM degree

ii) Maximum Age: As per CCIM norms

iii) Emolument : Rs.30,000/- per Month

4) House Officer (Anticipated Vacancy) – 01 Post – On Contract Basis

(i) Educational Qualification : A minimum qualification of BSMS/BIM degree

(ii) Maximum Age: As per CCIM norms

(iii) Emolument : Rs.30,000/- per Month

5) Yoga Expert – 01 Post – On Part Time Basis The period of part time engagement will be one (I) year or till creation of regular post, whichever is earlier Essential Qualification i) M.D (Siddha) – Sirappu Maruthuvam Desirable : Diploma in Yoga ii) Upper age limit : 64 years -2-

6) Veterinarian – 01 Post – On Part Time Basis The period of part time engagement will be one (I) year or till creation of regular post, whichever is earlier Essential Qualification

(i) M.V.Sc

(ii) Upper age limit – 64 Years

(iii) Consolidated Pay of Rs.30,000/- per month
