NIELIT Recruitment 2020 – National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) invites online application from eligible candidates for filling up 495 Scientist and Scientific/ Technical Assistant vacancies in National Informatics Centre (NIC). Candidates with the qualification of B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc/ MS/ MCA in relevant field are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the written test and interview. Pay Scale:

NIELIT Recruitment Selection Process:
- For Scientist ‘B’ Post – Selection will be done through a written examination and interview
- For Scientific/ Technical Asst-‘A’ Post – Selection will be done through written examination
Scheme of written examination:
- The written exam will be conducted in English medium only
- There will be a total of 120 objective type Questions
- Duration of written examination will be of 3 hours
- Every question will carry 1 mark
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
The question paper for the written examination will consist of
- There shall be a total of 120 objective type Questions consisting of 78 questions from Technical Area (Computer Science)
- 42 question on Generic area. The Generic Area will comprise of Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Aptitude.
- 65% questions from Technical Area
- 35% from Generic Area.
Minimum percentage to qualify the written examination:
- 50% for General/EWS
- 40% for OBC, 30% for the SC/ST/PWD categories
