National Career Service Portal New Registration
www.ncs.gov.in the government job portal has been officially unveiled by PM Narendra Modi. Ministry of Labour and Employment of Government of India had launched a job portal known as National Career Service www.ncs.gov.in. To register in NCS, you have to follow the following steps –
Step to Apply Online National Career Service Registration Form 2021
Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Career Service i.e. www.ncs.gov.in.
Step 2- On Homepage, “ New User? Click on the Sign Up button. [For Registration]
Step 3- Select the type of registration.
Select Register As :
- If you are a job seeker : Job Seeker
- If you are a company : Employer
- If you provide local services : Local Services
- If you are a household user : Household User
- If you are a training institute : Skill Provider
- If you are a counsellor : Counsellor
- If you are a consultancy or Placement Organisation : Placement Organisation
Step 4- Register with your details and after completing the registration process you will receive an OTP code on your mobile. After submitting the OTP code you will be registered with National Career Services www.ncs.gov.in .
Step 5-Go to www.ncs.gov.in and login with your details and explore the opportunities with reliable and authorized verified companies.
Search Career Center – Search Nearest Career Center on NCS Portal
Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Career Service Portal i.e. www.ncs.gov.in.
Step 2- On the Homepage, click on the tab of Job Seeker .
Step 3- After that, you have to click on the link of Find Career Center.
Step 4- In the New Window, you will have to select your district or state.
Step 5- Now you have to click on the search button.
Step 6- Finally, you click on the search button, your nearest career center will be shown on screen.
Find & Search Skill Providers on NCS Portal
Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Career Service Portal i.e. www.ncs.gov.in.
Step 2- On the Homepage, click on the tab of Job Seeker .
Step 3- After this you have to click on the link of Find Skill Provider.
Step 4- In this new page, in which you will have to select the skill provider.
Step 5- This way you will be able to find the skill provider.
Process to find a career counselor
Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Career Service Portal i.e. www.ncs.gov.in.
Step 2- On the Homepage, click on the tab of Job Seeker .
Step 3- After this, you have to click on the link of Career Counselor.
Step 4- New Window page, you will have to choose the name of your city or district and choose one of the careers counseling or vocational guidance.
Step 5- All career counselors will be on your computer screen.

- Online job fairs are being organized to bridge the gap between job aspirants and employers where the complete cycle from job posting to selection of candidate can be completed on the portal

- The ministry has tied up with TCS ION to offer course on soft skills to assist job seekers enhance personality development.
- The training will encompass modules on corporate etiquette, improving inter personal skills, making impactful presentation including other necessary soft skills needed by the industry. The training module is available in two languages, Hindi and English, on the NCS portal.
- There are around one crore active job seekers and 54,000 active employers registered on NCS and around 73 lakh vacancies have been mobilized through the portal so far.
- Around 1000 employment exchanges including 200 model career centers across the country are integrated with NCS.
