NWDA RECRUITMENT 2021

National Water Development Agency (NWD) has released a notification (Advertisement No. 07/ 2021) inviting online applications from Indian citizens for the recruitment on JE, UDC, LDC and other posts. Successful candidates will be posts at NWDA headquarter and various field offices located across the country.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website – http://www.nwda.gov.in/ – only up to Midnight on June 25, 2021.

Candidates have to make sure that they are fully eligible for the post they are applying for and the original certificates/documents in support of the information furnished in the online application form are to be provided at a later stage of recruitment process.

The candidates are advised to correctly choose the post to which they intend to apply as they may be eligible for more than one post. If a candidate applies for more than one post, he/she will have to fill separate application and submit application processing fee for each of the applied post.

NWDA Recruitment 2021: Application Fee

The candidates can pay the Exam Fee through Credit Card / Debit Card /Net Banking/ E Challan. An Application Processing Fee of Rs.840/- (Rupees Eight Hundred and Forty only) for General & OBC category and Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC, ST, Women, EWS and PWD category is payable through payment gateway. The application processing fee shall not be accepted in any other form. Fees once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

NWDA Recruitment 2021: Selection Criteria

For the posts of Junior Engineer, Hindi Translator, Junior Accounts Officer and UDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test.

For the posts of Stenographer Grade-II and LDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test and Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing)

NWDA Recruitment 2021: How to Apply

1) Candidates should visit http://www.nwda.gov.in/

2) Bring cursor on Vacancy tab and click on Vacancy Details. You will be redirected to a new website – https://nwda.cbtexam.in/

3) Click on ‘Register’ link

4) Fill up the application form and pay application fee online

5) Download the filled up application form and take printout for future use.

Note: The Candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the complete application form, which may be required for future references.

NWDA Recruitment 2021: Education Criteria

For Junior Engineer 

Essential: 

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.

Desirable: 

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.

For Hindi Translator

Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR

Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level

For Junior Accounts Officer

Essential: 

i) Degree in Commerce from a recognized University/Institute.

ii) Three years experience in handling ‘Cash & Accounts’ in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory

Desirable: 

Candidates having CA/ICWAI/Company Secretary will be preferred

For Upper Division Clerk

Essential: 

Degree of a recognized University.

Desirable: 

Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point &Internet.

For Stenographer Grade – II

Essential: 

12th Class passed from a recognized Board/University.

Skill (Shorthand) Test (on Computer) at the speed of 80 wpm.

For Lower Division Clerk

Essential: 

i) 12th Class passed from a recognized Board; and

ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Desirable: 

Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point &Internet.
